Elizabeth (Libby) Cheney

Libby has more than 30 years of experience in the global oil and gas industry in operational, technical and executive roles for Exxon, Royal Dutch Shell and Hess. She has served as lead in delivering risk and EHS management systems, in addition to over two decades of technical operational experience in exploration, field development, field recovery and abandonment projects. Libby has managed operating budgets up to $400 million including major investment decisions. Libby holds a Bachelorʼs in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. She has served on numerous Boards including IPIECA, Off shore Energy Center, Vanderbilt University School of Engineering, Graham Sustainability Institute, and US Oil and Gas Association.
